5 mile run……check!
Got my run done this morning. I made it the whole way without walking or stopping, so it went much better than Sunday. It was a beautiful morning for running. It was about 50 degrees with little wind, and the sun was just up. AWESOME!!! Out in the country with nothing but me and my music, only 4 vehicles passed while I was out there between 6-7….it was great!
Oh, I did just about die at the end, but I kept an average pace of about 5.5 mph…not to bad for this fatty! Now, I am basking in my runner’s high. Gotta go drag the kids out of bed.
Have a great day!!

ok…where do I begin?
5 miles is great. I’m struggling to run 2 without stopping and get “runners stitches” just thinking about going 5.
…the next part of this comment is where I stick my tongue out at you in envy.
50 degrees? No traffic? PERFECT!!
I ran/walked 3 miles last night and it was so miserably humid! My clothes LITERALLY looked like they were pulled out of a pool.
At one point while walking, I thought it was starting to rain when I realized that it was only my sweat dripping off of my head onto my arms.
After I was done, I stretched for about 5 minutes and left a puddle behind as if a someone had just dumped a water bottle.
UNREAL…You know it’s humid when your car windows are wet at 9pm. Dew in the morning is acceptable, but not this.
anyways….enjoy 50 degree weather at the end of May….that is good stuff.
Hey…..you could always move back to SD…..don’t forget about all the lovely driving I did this winter in blizzards and such. Everything has its pros and cons. But yes, today was a glorious morning for running.
I’d ABSOLUTELY LOVE to live there from May through September and here the rest of the year. As soon as I figure out how to make that happen, I will be sure to spread the news
Until then,…I can only dream about cool morning runs during the summer months:-(
